    West Greene Elementary Red Ribbon Week

    “Friends Don’t Let Friends Bully Or Do Drugs”

    October 27 – 31
    Red Ribbon Week is a drug prevention campaign to encourage individuals to take a stand for the hopes and dreams of our children through a commitment to drug prevention, education, and a personal commitment to live a drug free life.  Read below to see how West Greene will celebrate Red Ribbon Week using our theme “Friends Don’t Let Friends Bully Or Do Drugs!

    Monday- “I Can, U Can, We Can” - Students and faculty members are invited to participate in the canned food drive to help donate food to those who are in need.  Beginning Monday, please bring canned foods to the counseling center any time!  We will keep the can drive going all week. 

    Tuesday- “Sock-it To Drugs” - Students and faculty members are encouraged to wear mismatched or crazy socks.

    Wednesday - “I Am Too Sweet To Do Drugs" - Students will be given a lollipop at school.

    Thursday -"Put a Cap on Drugs" - Students and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite hat to school!

    Friday - “Team Up Against Drugs” - Students and faculty members are asked to wear their favorite college or university shirt.
